 Comments:

1.     What a wonderful presenter, I appreciate that he made sure he covered techniques (4).

2.     Excellent presenter, microphone did not work well. (6)

3.     Room was very cold; I would like to see many more presenters like this.

4.     The tech person was late to the session to attach the microphone and set it up.

5.     I would love to attend more of Bob’s trainings!

6.     Very well versed in theory practice looked to audience and responded quickly to feedback especially when tech was inhibiting communication.

7.     Too much material for the time allowed. (2)

8.     Excellent, very informative practical tools to use with clients! Liked the use of metaphors! (2)

9.     Moment of joy listening to my three year old say her nightly prayer.  What revelations! Thanks for this pause for thought!

10.  Wonderful topic! Thank you! The standing ovation was a fun release! The clinical examples were very helpful!

11.  Bob is one of the most dynamic speakers I have ever heard in this field!  I have heard him several times before and always learn new things!

12.  Great presentation good advices to mediate so that you can clear you mind to be present with others!

13.  The standing ovation was a little hokey and time consuming. The second panel on handout regarding the role of the therapists is very good! However it did leave out the need for resources or creating opportunity (external).  Very good presentation with primary focus on effective techniques.

14.  Really excellent, very practical many things presented that I can use in my daily life and work- very inspirational!  Really good presenter!  I appreciate the availability of more information on the website.

15.  Given the limited time for the presentation, I thought the standing ovation was a little silly and a waste of time (2).  Did not start lecture until 10:40 am. Other than that the lecture was excellent.

16.  Print too small on the handout.  Someone needed to help him with his microphone problems.

17.  Very helpful when he spoke about working out your own tension before addressing clients with high tension.

18.  Useful, interesting, good pace.

19.  I personally appreciate the handout provided but a presenter who brings the information therein to life practical application leads to quick utility of the concepts and techniques.

20.  More demonstration of techniques.

21.  Informative refreshing, experienced!

22.  Presenter was great, was not what I expected from reading workshop description but was interesting.

23.  This man is a wealth of knowledge and it was impossible for time to really share but a glimpse in the time allotted.

24.  There was no question and answer period. (2)

25.  Pleased with techniques and suggestion of his website with information.

26.  I will check out the website.

27.  Lots of good food for thought.

28.  Would like more time also perhaps a video would help with breathing techniques etc! Very interesting.

29.  Needs to be a two part session.

30.  Too simplistic generalizations for social work clinical practice.

31.  He tended to ramble.

32.  New? Perspectives or simplistic?

33.  Does this guy walk on water too?  Spare me the rah ,rah, I’m paying for content.  Ridiculous that he made the cut when presenters were selected by NASW-MI Chapter.  Since when was PTSD/Anxiety, RX all about breathing.

34.  The adhering for social work was silly.  Too many stories and case examples.  Hard to follow the handout with the lecture.  The handouts were poor too small print; please provide table seating for better note taking.  The speaker is wonderful man!! Very caring!  Room was too cold!

35.  Very disappointed, this was not what I expected, loss of focus within the first 10 minutes.

36.  Well done, very important! (4)

37.  Could listen to more!

38.  Excellent, Excellent Workshop! (6)

39.  By far the best workshop I have attended in 39 years!

40.  Examples illustrated theory.

41.  Easy to listen to, time flew, great session.

42.  Too Cold (3)
